Teacher Certification Process
Get Certified as a FoodEducators Teacher
Join a growing community of educators empowering the next generation through food literacy! The FoodEducators Certification recognises your commitment to inspiring young people to make informed food choices and explore innovative careers in the agrifood sector.
Once you complete all the steps, you’ll receive an official FoodEducators Certificate in .pdf format via email. If you don’t receive it within a few days, please get in touch with your local programme partner.
Certification Process
How to become a FoodEducators certified teacher in just four steps:
1. Participate in a training
Attend a FoodEducators training session conducted by our local partner. This training will provide you with the tools and knowledge you need to successfully deliver the program.
Information about upcoming training sessions can be found on our News and Events page. You can also contact your local partner by email to ask about the next available training.
2. Take a Quick Quiz
Test your understanding by completing a short online quiz. Take the Quiz here.
3. Teach a Lesson Plan
Browse our resource repository, select a lesson plan that fits your needs and curriculum, and teach it to at least one class!
4. Complete Evaluation Survey!
Complete our short online evaluation form to share your feedback and outreach details! Complete the Evaluation Form here!
After Completing the Steps
Once you've completed all three steps, your personalised certificate will be sent to you by email in .pdf format in no more than 7 days after completing all steps.
